POST OFFICE BOX 293 1 PASCO, WASHINGTON 99301 August 20, 1976 City Council Members TO: George Smith, City Manager FROM: Leo E. Olney, Director of Finance SUBJECT: 1976 SALARIES FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES TW attached Ordinance has been prepared to increase the non -Union employees salaries to 9.0% above their 1975 level. As you will recall, at the time the Council approved the 8.6% increase for these employees, they (the Council) indicated they would give these employees, essentially, the same increase as received by the Union em- ployees. As the majority of the Union employees have received a 9% increase, it would seem appropriate to increase the non -Union employees salary by the other .4%. Those employees who have received additional salary adjustments during 1976 to bring their salary up to the current market level will not receive the additional increase under this Ordinance.
