HomeMy WebLinkAbout1803 Ordinance - RecordedORDINANCE NO. 180.3 AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN MCLEOD'S FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PASCO. WHEREAS, thereAllas been filed with the City Council of the city of Pasco, by abutting property owners', a valid petition requesting the vacation of a portion of certain streets and alleys within the McLeod's First Addition to the City of Pasco, situated in the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing held before the City Council of the City of Pasco, on July 6, 1976, and it appearing there were no objections to _said vacation, and said vacation being deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY°.OF PA�SCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following described streets and alleys in that portion of McLeod's First Addition as recptded in Volume B, Page 31, Book of Plats, Franklin County, Washington, shall be aiu& hereby are vacated of any future public uses whatsoever: 1. That portion of Grafton Street from the north right-of-way line of Liberty Street to the south right-of-way of Hillsboro Street all within McLeod's First Addition t6 -City of Pasco. 2. That portion of Bayfield Street from the north right-of-way line of Liberty Street to the south right-of-way of Hillsboro Street all within McLeod's First Addition. to City of Pasco. 3. The north -south alley lying within Block 4, McLeods First Addition to the City of Pasco. 4. The north -south alley lying within Block 5, McLeods First Add?.tion to the City of Pasco. 5. Liberty Street is from westerly terminus inr'Block 5 McLeods First Addition to the City of Pasco, to its easterly terminus with the westerly right::- of-way ight.-of-way line..of SR -395. 6. All other previously not vacated streets and alleys which by law attach to Blocks 2, 3, 4, and 5 of McLeod's addition all -".within McLeod's First Addition to City of Pasco. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon execution and recording of the dedication conditioning the vacation and after publication as required by law. U i A RESOLUTION FIXING A TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO WHEREAS, The City Council has received a petition from 75% or more of the abutting property owners requesting the City of Pasco to vacate certain streets and alleys and WHEREAS, A public hearing is required on said vacation, now therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. 'That a public hearing for vacating the following streets and alleys within the City of Pasco will be held before the City Council in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of eight (8) P.M., the sixth day of July, 1976. 1. That portion of Grafton Street from the north right-of-way line of Liberty Street to the south right-of-way of Hillsboro Street all with- in McLeod's First Addition to City of Pasco. 2. That portion of Bayfield Street from the north right-of-way line of Liberty Street to the south right-of-way of Hillsboro Street all within McLeod's First Addition to City of Pasco. 3.
