HomeMy WebLinkAbout1765 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1 765 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PASCO TO CONTRACT FOR SER- VICES WITH THE BENTON-FRANKLIN VOLUNTEER PROBATION SERVICE. WHEREAS, The City of Pasco wishes to continue receiving services from the Benton -Franklin Volunteer Probation Service and has reviewed and approved the contract for such services, Now, Therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into the contract with the Benton -Franklin Volunteer Probation Service on behalf of the City. Said contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as provided by Law. 3 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of February, 1976. Roach, City Attorney J � Jan Tidrr k, Mayor AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this 3 day of February, 1976, between THE CITY OF PASCO, hereinafter referred to as "City" and BENTON-FRANKLIN VOLUNTEER PROBATION SERVICE, hereinafter referred to as "Probation Service" , WITNESSETH: It is agreed that Probation Service will continue to provide probation services to the City as it has done in the past. It is agreed that the City, in consideration for said services, shall provide the following: 1) Office space in the basement of Pasco City Hall, such space as is designated by the Mayor of the City of Pasco. 2) One telephone line for local calls, paid for by the City. 3) Use of copier in the City Clerk's office, without charge, up to a maximum of 100 copies per month. This agreement shall terminate on December 31, 1976. Clark Pasco, Washington 99301 Gentlemen: At the regular meeting of the Pasco City Council, held February 3, 1976, they passed Ordinance No. 1765, authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pasco to contract for services with the Benton -Franklin Volunteer Probation Service. We are attaching a copy of that Ordinance, plus the Agreement which is a part of Ordinance No. 1765.
