ORDINANCE NO. 11697
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PASCO'MUNI-
CIPAL CODE CHAPTER 2;.32 AND ORDINANCE
NO:. 92, BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A PUBLIC LIBRARY, PROVTDING A FUND FOR
THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SAME CREATING.
THE OFFICE OF A CITY LIBRARIAN AND FIXING
THE LIBRARIAN'S DUTIES.
WHEREAS, The Pasco Public Library has moved from the old Carnegie Public
Library Building; and
WHEREAS, The City of 'Pasco is now under contract to the Mid -Columbia
Library District to "provide services at the Pasco Municipal Library; NOW,
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS ,FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That S'ections7i, II, III, IV, VII and VIII of Ordinance No. 92 are
hereby repealed;,I'and, that accordingly Pasco Municipal Code 2.32.010,1`12`1.32.020,
2./32.0301 2.32...040, 2.32,050 and 2.32.080 are also repealed..
Section 2. That Section, VI of Ordinance No. 92, and, Pasco Municipal Code
2.32.066,are hereby°amended to read as follows::
"Section VI. [2.32.0.60] Annual Report' to City Manager_,by
Chief. Librarian.
"The Chief Librarian shall make an annual report to the
City Manager "stating fully the condition of the library,
the. number of books and periodicals on hand, the number
and character of the books loaned out,. 'also any statistics
,and suggestions as the librarian may deem of' general
in-teresa. Such annual "report shall be presented to the City
Manager at the close of each calendar year.
Section 3;. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its. passage and
publication as required by law.
