ORDINANCE NO. 1649
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING MINIMUM STANDARDS
TO SAFEGUARD LIFE, HEALTH, PROPERTY AND PUB-
LIC WELFARE BY REGULATING AND CONTROLLING
THE DESIGN, QUALITY OF MATERIALS, CONSTRUC-
TION, LOCATION,. ELECTRIFICATION, AND MAIN-
TENANCE OF ALL SIGNS AND SIGN STRUCTURES NOT
LOCATED WITHIN A BUILDING; AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Uniform Sign Code, 1973 Edition, prepared by the International Con-
ference of Building Officials, and as hereafter amended or revised, is hereby adopted
by the City of Pasco as a supplement to its Sign Code.
Section 2. Three copies of the Uniform Sign Code, 1973 Edition, have been filed for
use and examination of the public in the office of the City Clerk prior to the adoption
of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publi-
cation as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 7 day of
M°1y 1974.
