ORDINANCE NO. 1551 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF THE ADVALOREM TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO RAISE THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS NEEDED BETWEEN ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN ADVALOREM TAXES FOR CERTAIN FUNDS AND THE ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR SAID FUNDS; FOR THE PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST UPON THE GENERAL BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF PASCO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973; AND TO LEVY THE ANNUAL AD VALOREM TAXES OF THE CITY OF PASCO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973 AND APPORTION THE SAME TO CERTAIN FUNDS FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the annual amount of ad valorem tax levies of the City of Pasco for the fiscal year 1973 necessary to raise the additional amounts needed between estimated revenues from sources other than ad valorem taxes and expendi- tures for such said funds, be and the same are hereby levied upon real and personal property subject to taxation in said City and all the assessment districts thereof and upon each dollar of taxable value as follows, to -wit: In all Assessment Districts for payment to: AMOUNT General, City Street, Park and Recreation, Library, Golf, Firemen's Pension Funds $386,900.(approx.) 1963 General Obligation Bond Fund 3,100. 1968 General Obligation Bond Fund 91900. 1969 General Obligation Bond Fund 6,500. Sub -Total Levy: 406,400.(approx.) In the Library Assessment District for payment to: 1961 General Obligation Bond Fund $ 32,000. In the Library and Street Assessment District for payment to: MILLS 7.61 (approx.) 0.06 (approx.) 0.20 (approx.) 0.13 (approx.) 8.00 0.68 (approx.) 1965 General Obligation Bond Fund $ 58,500. 1.17 (approx.) In the Library, Street and Bridge Assessment District for payment to: 1971 General Obligation Bond Fund $ 64,000. 1.28 (approx.) TOTAL LEVY: $560,900.(approx.) 11.13 (approx.) Section 2. That said taxes herein provided for are levied for the purpose of raising revenues sufficient to pay the principal and interest upon the general bonded indebtedness of the City of Pasco and for a portion of the General, City Street, Park and Recreation, Library and Golf Funds and for the operation of the several depart- ments of the Municipal Government of the City of Pasco for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1973 and ending December 31, 1973. Further, said taxes are hereby levied upon all the real and personal property as shown by the assessments in the County of Franklin, as finally fixed by the County and the State Board of Equalization, and as extended upon the books of the County Assessor, showing the property within said City subject to taxation for municipal purposes, and upon the amount of said real and personal property as certified by the County Assessor, which certificate was hereto- fore received by the City of Pasco, all pursuant to and under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Washington. f Ordinance No. 1551 -2- Date: October 3, 1972 Section 3. That the taxes collected from the levies hereby fixed, together with the estimated revenues from sources other than ad valorem taxes which constitute the appropriations of the City of Pasco for the fiscal year 1973, will be appropriated as itemized and classified in the Annual Budget for the fiscal year 1973. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect, after its passage and publication as required by law. PASSED and APPROVED this 3 day of October 1972 DONALD D.
