ORUINANCE NO. 1527
All ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN STREET IN
THE SYLVESTER PARK AUDITION LYING WITHIN
THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco desires to vacate a certain
street in the Sylvester Park Addition in order to promote the development of
the area; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council of the City of
Pasco on April 4, 1972, and it appearing there were no objections to said vacation
and said vacation being deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Pasco;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO UO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of the following described street in the Sylvester
Park Addition shall be and hereby is declared vacated of any future public use
whatsoever; provided that the City of Pasco hereby retains an easement and the
right to exercise and grant easements in respect to the vacated land for construc-
tion, repair and maintenance of public utilities and services.
1. The portion of West Henry Street lying westerly of west right-of-way
line of North Fourth Avenue and easterly of east right-of-way line of
North Arthur Avenue between Block e and Block 7, Sylvester Park
Addition, as recorded in Volume B, Page 52, Book of Plats, Franklin
County, Washington.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED as provided by law, this 4
day of April , 1972.
