Re: Ordinance - Ambulance Purchase,
Dear Harry:
October 26, 1971
Enclosed please find proposed ordinance relating to issuance of
emergency warrants for purchase of an ambulance: Since the
purchase of this ambulance is not an emergency identified in
RCW 35. 33.080, the emergency 'procedure 'provided in 35.. 33. 090
must be followed.
This means that the city must publish a copy of the proposed'
ordinance at• least once prior to the meeting at which the ordinance
will be presented to the City Council for adoption. The proposed
ordinance will have to be introduced at the first meeting in
November and voted upon at the second meeting in November.
Between those two meetings the publication should b'e made.
Very truly yours;
