AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1130 BEING AN
ORDINANCE ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE.PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF 'PASCO AS A POLICY STATEMENT TO BE USED AS
A GUIDE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND RE -DEVELOPMENT OF
THE CITY OF P'ASCO.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Pasco wishes to make
amendments to the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Pasco, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing was held November 3, 1971, at 8-:00
P.M. at the City Hall, Pasco, Washington, before the City Council of the
City of Pasco to consider amendments to the Comprehensive Plan of the City
of Pasco, and
WHEREAS., Proposed amendments, supplementations, or modifications
were just heard by the Ci'ty Planning Commission.and said Commission re-
ported its decision within ninety (9O) days of the time that the proposed
amendments, supplementations or modifications were made, and
WHEREAS, Any objections presented at the Public Hearing were
considered by the.City Council and overruled, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASOC DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The followi,ng described areas shall be classified in
the land use designation as commercial:
That area bounded by North Chase Avenue on the east:, West
Sylvester Street on the north, U.S. 12 on the west, and
West Lewis 'Street on the south;
That area bounded by Road 28 on the east., West Court Street
on the north, U.S. 12 on the west, and West Sylvester Street
on the south;
That bounded by North Chase Avenue on the east, the westerly
projection of Park Street from Chase Avenue to Road 24 on
the north, Road 24 on the west, and Wrest Sylvester Street on
the south;
That area bounded by Road 24 on the east, the westerly pro-
jections of Nixon Street from from Road 24 to Road 28 on
the north, Road 28 on the west., and West Sylvester Street
on the south;
That area bounded by North Chase Avenue on the east, west
Court street on the north, Road 28 on the west, and west
Brown and. its easterly projection from Sunny Acre Plat on
the south;
That area bounded by North Chase Avenue on the east, West
Court Street on the North, Road 22'on the west and the
westerly projection of Mari.e`Street on the south;
That area bounded North Chase Avenue on the east., the wes-
terly projection of Marie street on the north, a line half-
way between North Chase Avenue and Road,22 on the west, and
the westerly projection of Margaret street on the
south.
That area bounded by North Chase avenue on the east,
the westerly projection of Margaret street on the
north, Road 22 on the west,,and the westerly projec-
tion of Park street on the south.
Section 2. The following described areas shall be,classified in
the land use designation as High Density Residential:
That area bounded by Road 26 on the east, West Brown
Street on the north, Road-.28,on the west, and the wes--
terl`y projection of Nixon street on the south;
That area bounded by Road 24 on the east, west Octave
street on the north, Road 26 on the west, and the
westerly project ions of Nixon street on the south;
That area bounded by Road 22 on the east, the easterly
extension of.Brown street from Sunny Acres Plat on the
north, Road 2,6' -on the west, and Marie Street and its
easterly projection on the south;
That area bounded' by Road 22 on the east,-the�north li°ne.
of Morath Plat on the north, Road 24 on the west, and the
westerly p.r.ojection of Part street on the south;
That area bounded by.'a north -south line halfway between
north, Chase Avenue and' Road. 22 on the east, the westerly
extension of Mackie street on the north, Road 22 on the
west, and,the westerly projection of Margaret Street on
the south;
Section 3. The following described areas shall be classified in
the land use designation as Public an'd Open Spaces:
That area bounded by,Road 22 on the east,, the easterly
projection of Marie Street on the north, Road 24 on
the west, and the north line of Morath Plat on the south;
That area bounded by Road 24 on the east, Marie Street
on the north, Road.26 on the west, Octave Street on the
south.
Sect ion 4. The above listed revisions shall be entered on the
official map on file in the Auditor's Office:, Franklin County Courthouse, and
said map shall become, the official map as revised.
Section 5. Ordinance No. 1120, and the Comprehensive 'Plan of the
City of Pasco are hereby changed to conform to the provisions of this Ord-
ina,nce.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be i`n full force and effect
after its passage and publication as required by law.
