ORDINANCE NO. 1464
AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS
IN THE URBAN RENEWAL AREA LYING WITHIN THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of -Pasco desire to vacate certain
streets and alleys in the Urban Renewal Area in order to promote the development;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council of the -City of
Pasco on March 2, 1,971, and it appearing there were no objections to said vacation
and said vacation being deemed to be in the bests interests of the City of Pasco;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO UO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of the following described streets and alleys
in the Urban Renewal Area shall'be and hereby are declared vacated of any future
public use whatsoever; provided that the City 'of Pasco hereby retains an easement
and the right to exercise and grant easements?in respect to the vacated land for
construction, repair and maintenance of public utilities and services.
1. The north -south alley and the east -west alley lying within Block 102,
Plat of Pasco as recorded in Volume B, Page 324, Franklin County
Book of Plats.:
2. The portion of'the east -west alley lying west of the west line of.the
north -south alley within Block 1:20`,.Pasco Land Company's First Addition
to Pasco as recorded in Volume B, Page`39,.Franklin-County Book of
Plats.
3. The portion of Main Street lying south of.the..south line of Lewis Street
and north of the north line of Columbi'a•Street and adjacent to Block 102,
Plat of Pasco as recorded i,n,Volume B, Page 32-A, Franklin County Book
of Plats and -Block 102:"Pasco,Land Company's First Addition to Pasco
sed as recorded in Volume B, Page'39, Franklin County Book of Plats.
4. The portion of Main Street lying south of the south line of Holden.
Street and north of the north line of Hayes Street and.adjacent to
Blocks 97 and 125-, .Pasco Land Company's First -Addition to Pasco as
recorded in .Volurle B, Page 39, Franklin County Book of Plats.

5. The north -south alley lying within. Block 127,,Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco as recorded in—Volume B, Page 39, Franklin
County Book of Plats.
6. The north -south alley lying within Block'129, Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco as recorded in Volume B, Page 39, Franklin
County Book of Plats.
7.. The north -south alley lying within Block 153, Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco as recorded•in Volume B, Page 39, Franklin
County Book of Plats.
Section 2. The following described alley `shall be and hereby is declared
vacated of any future public use whatsoever:
1. The north -south alley lying within Block 125, Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco as recorded in Volume B, Page . 39, Franklin
County Book -of Plats.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force.and effect after its
passage and publication as required by law.

day of March 1971.
