HomeMy WebLinkAbout1440 Ordinance - RecordedORDINANCE NO. 1440 AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF PUEBLO STREET RUNNING EAST AND WEST BETWEEN NORTH MAIN STREET AND NORTH OREGON STREET, AS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED LYING WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON. WHEREAS, There has been filed with the City Council of the City of Pasco by the abutting property owners, a valid petition requesting the vacation of that portion of Pueblo Street, lying east and west between North Main Street and North Oregon Street, situated within the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington. WHEREAS, A Public Hearing was held before the City Council in the City of Pasco on July 7, 1970 and continued to August 18, 1970, and it appearing there were no objections to said vacation being deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That portion of Pueblo Street, lying east and west between North Main Street and North Oregon Street, hereinafter described shall be and hereby is declared to'be vacated of any future public use whatsoever. That portion of Pueblo Street running east and west between North Main Street and North Oregon Street, lying entirely between Block 27 and Block 30, of Frey's Addition to the City of Pasco, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume B of Plat, Page 16, in Franklin County, Washington. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as' required by law.
