ORDINANCE NO. 1430
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF SOUTH 10th AVENUE
AS HEREINAFTER DFSCRTBF'D I.,YTNC, WTTHTN THE CTTY On
PASCO, WASHINGTON; AND REPEATING ORDINANCE 334.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Pasco desire to vacate
a portion of South 10th Avenue situated within the City of Pasco, Franklin
County, Washington.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council of
t e City of Pasco on May 5, 1970 and it appearing there were no objections to
said vacation and said vacation being deemed to be in the best interests of the
City of. Pasco.
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of South 10th Avenue herein after described
shall be and hereby is declared vacated of any further public use whatsoever, to
wit:
All that part of the Westerly Half of Block 4 of Pettit's
Addition to the City of Pasco, Washington, lying within
parallel lines, one on each side of and 30 feet distant
from the center line described as beginning at a point
246.92 feet north, measured along the center line of South
10th Street from the intersection of the center line of
South 10th Street with the South line of Section 30, Town-
ship 9, North of Range 30, E.W.M., thence North on the same
line produced a distance of 2.12.19 feet; thence on a 280 00'
curve to the right through an angle of 78035' to an inter-
section with the center line of West Lewis Street.
Section 2. -Ordinance 334 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and publication as required by law.
