AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW SECTION TO ORDINANCE NO, 741 AND
P'ASCO CITY CODE CHAPTER 3-8 TO BE SECTION 14 AND RELATING TO
FRANKLIN COUNTY RESIDENTS REPRESENTING LOCAL RELIGIOUS
ORGANIZATIONS SELLING BIBLES, RELIGIOUS BOOKS OR RELIGIOUS
LITERATURE, AND BEING AN ORDINANCE, DEFINING, REGULATING
AND LICENSING SOLICITORS REQUIRING A BOND, PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF REPEALING ORDINANCES NO, 634 AND 711
AND EXCEPTING CERTAIN PERSONS FROM THE EFFECT THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There shall be added to Ordinance No. 741 and Pasco City
Code Chapter 3-8 a new section to be Section 14 and to read as follows:
Section 14. Franklin County residents representing local religious
organizations selling bibles, religious books or religious literature are
exempt from the payment of any fees or bond requirementsunder the
terms of this Ordinance but all such persons are included in and subject
to the other provisions of this Ordinance and shall make application for
a permit at the City Clerk's office.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication as required by Law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
day of May, 1964.
