HomeMy WebLinkAbout1115 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1115 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 2 OF SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NO, 435 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO.' 1030 AND PASCO CITY CODE 5-1.28,- AS IT NOW EXISTS, AND BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS AND THE USE OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection 2 of Section 9 of Ordinance No. 435 as amended by Ordinance No. 1030 and Pasco City Code 5..1. 28, as it now exists, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 9 .Sub -section 2 .. Side Yard. Fireplaces not over eight feet wide and eaves and cornices may extend over the required side yard for a distance of not more than two feet. The Commission may upon the joint request of the owners of adjoining properties, permit the erection of private garages or other outbuildings upon or immediately adjacent to the division line between the two properties, after an examination of the location and the making of a finding that the granting of such permission will not be unduly detrimental to adjacent and surrounding property nor to the zone in which such permission is granted. Permits granted under the foregoing provision shall be limited to the life of the structure or structures for which the permit is issued. Section 2. This ordinance to be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as required by law. PASSED BY THE City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 16th day of Ju3y, 1963..
