AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF JAY STREET BETWEEN SAXTON
STREET AND CHASE STREET: THAT PORTION OF ELLA STREET BETWEEN
SAXTON STREET AND CHASE STREET: THAT PORTION OF FRANKLIN STREET
SOUTH OF ELLA STREET: AND ALL ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 15, 16, 17 AND 18,
HEADLIGHT ADDITION TO PASCO, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF, VOLUME
"B" OF PLATS,' PAGE 26, RECORDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS there has heretofore been filed with the City Coincil of the City
of Pasco by the abutting property owners, a valid petition requesting the vacation of
a portion of Jay Street, Ella Street, Franklin Street and all alleys in Blocks 15, 16,
17 and 18, Headlight Addition to Pasco, according to plat thereof, Volume "B" of
plats, page 26, records of Franklin County, Washington, and
WHEREAS a public hearing was held in the council chambers of the City of
Pasco before the City Council on Apii 1 16, 1963, and there being no objections to
the above mentioned vacation, and it being deemed to be to the best interests of the
City of Pasco to vacate those portions of said streets and all alleys, NOW, THERE-
FORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance the below
described streets and alleys shall be and the same hereby are declared to be vacated
of any further public use whatsoever:
Chase Street.
Chase Street.
a) That portion of Jay Street between Saxton Street and
b) That portion of Ella Street between Saxton Street and
c) That portion of Franklin Street south of Ella Street.
d) All alleys in Blocks 15, 16, 17 and 18, Headlight Addi-
tion to Pasco, according to plat thereof volume "B'" of plats, page 26,
records of Franklin County, Washington.
Section 2. This ordinance to be in full force and effect after its passage
and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 7th
day of May, 1963.
