AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING. TRANSFERS FOR THE CEMETERY,
LIBRARY, PARK, WATER AND STREET DEPARTMENTS AND
AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FROM FUNDS IN EXCESS. OF ESTIMATED
REVENUES FOR RECEIPTS FOR THE PARK DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, when the Budget for the year 1960 was adopted, the
City Council incorrectly estimated the amounts needed for various items in the
Cemetery, Library, Park, Water and Sewer Departments as more fully set
forth below, and
WHEREAS, the Cash on Hand item under the Park Department
was in. excess of estimated .revenues or receipts, and
WHEREAS, the transfers and expenditures set forth below are
for the best interests of the City of Pasco and are authorized under the terms of
R. C. W. 35. 33. 120, NOW, THEREFORE,
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. Under the Cemetery Department, the sum of $110
shall be transferred from Building Repair to Gas and Oil; and the sums of
$200 from Blacktop, $350 from Building Repair, and $413 from Seed, Fert. ,
Shrubs, shall be. transferred to Lights, Water and Phone.
Section 2. Under the Library Department, the sum of $13. 82
shall be transferred from Binding to Films & Equipment; and the sum of $130
shall be transferred from Binding to Social Security.
Section 3. Under the. Park Department (Municipal Golf Course)
the sum of $1, 785. 65 shall be transferred from Capital Outlay to Light, Heat,
Water, Phone, etc..
Section 4. Under the Park Department, the additional sum of
$2,367. 38 shall be expended for Lights, Heat, Water and Phone and the
additional sum of $200 shall be expended for Social Security, all from Cash on
Hand in the Park Department in excess of estimated revenues or receipts.
Section 5. Under the Water Department, the sum of $1, 000
shall be transferred from Purification.W & S to Utility Equip. Mtnce. ; and the.

sum of $100 shall be transferred from Semi -skilled Labor W & S to Social
Security.
Section 6. Under the Street Department, the sum of $440. 00 shall be
transferred from Equipment, to Material and Supplies.
Section 7. This ordinance shall be in full force after its passage and
publication as required by law.
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
20th day of'December, 1960.
