AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF THE BOND
REQUIRED OF THE MAYOR, THE CITY ATTORNEY,,
THE CITY. CLERK, THE POLICE JUDGE AND THE
CHIEF.OF POLICE OF THE CITY OF PASCO, AND
REPEALING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 187.
AND PASCO CITY.CODE NO. 1720.12 (1).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor, the City Attorney, the City
Clerk, the Police Judge and the Chief of Police of the City of
Pasco, before entering into their respective duties, shall each
execute a bond to the City of Pasco conditioned for the faith-
ful performance of his duties, including in the same bond the
duties of all of his ex officio offices. The bond shall be
in the following penal sums:
(a) Mayor: $2,500.00
(b) City Attorney: $2,500.00
(c) Police Judge: $2,500.00
(d) Chief of Police: $2,500.00
(e) City Clerk: $2,500.00

Section 2. Before entering into their respective duties,
the bond of the Mayor, the City Attorney, the Police Judge and the
Chief of Police shall be approved by the City Clerk and shall be
filed with the City Clerk.
Section 3. Before entering into his duties, the bond
of the City Clerk shall be approved by the City Attorney and
shall be filed with the Mayor.
Section 4. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 187 and Pasco
City Code No. 1-20.12 (1) are hereby repealed.
Section 5. The purpose of this ordinance is to comply
with the requirements of R.C.W. 35..24.080.
Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after its passage and publication as required
by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor
this 4th Day of February, 1958.
