AN ORDINANCE VACATING MELROSE AVENUE FROM "BIT STREET SOUTH TO
THE RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY; "B" STREET FROM ASH STREET WEST TO THE
RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY; AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 8, STEFFINIS AMENDED
ADDITION 'r0 PASCO, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME.
B OF PLAT'S, PAGE 47, RECORDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the City Council of the City
of Pasco, by the abutting property owners, a petition requesting the vacation of Melte
rose Avenue From "B" Street South to the Railroad Right of Way, "B" Street from
Ash Street iNest to the Railroad Right of Way, and the alley in Block 8, Steffin's
Amended Addition to Pasco, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume B of Plats,
page 47, Records of Franklin County, Washington, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in the Council Chambers in the City
of Pasco, before the. City Council on April 16, 1957, and it appearing that there were
no objections to said vacations, and it further being deemed in the best interests of
the City of Pasco, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF i'HE CITY OF- PASCO DO ORDAIN AS. FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this. ordinance, Melrose
Avenue from "B" Street South to the Railroad Right of Way, B Street from Ash Street,.
West to the Railroad. Right of Way, and the alley in Block 8, Steffin's Amended Addition
to Pasco, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume B of Plats, page 47, records
of Franklin County, Washington, be and the same hereby are declared to be vacated
of any further public use whatsoever.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days
after passage and publication.as required by law.
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this day'of
