AN ORDINANCE VAGATING THAT P.OR^1ION OF MARGARET
STREET LYING BETWEEN THE WESTERLY LINE OF MEAD
AVENUE AND THE EASTERLY LINE OF ILLINOIS AVENUE
AND THAT PORTION OF HENRY STREET LYING BETWEEN
THE WESTERLY LINE OF MEAD AVENUE AND THE EASTERLY
LINE OF ILLINOIS AVENUE, EXCEPT THE CITY OF
PASGO:RETAINS THE RIGHT TO EXERCISE AND GRANT
EASEMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR,, AND
MAINTENANCE OF'PUBLI"C UTIL.IT'IE.S AND SERVICES
OVER THE NORTH 20 FEET OF TIM 'S:OUTH 30 FEET OF
THAT PORTION OF FENRY STREET BEING VACATED, $TA
DTUM PARK ADDITION .TO PASCO.
WHEREAS there has heretofore been filed with the City Council
Of the City of Pasco `by an .abutting property owner a Petition re-
questing the,vaca°ti'on of the above describ,ed stree-ts and
W,HEREAS a Public Raring; thereon was held in the City, Council
chambers before the City Council on July 20, 1954, and it appear
ing that there was no objection to the vacation of a portion of
said streets and it'furthe:r being, deemed to the best inte.re;sts of`
the City of Pasc,o,, NOW., THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1•. 'That from a-nd af't;er, the effective date of this.
ordinance, that portion of Margaret Street lying between the w,esterl-y
line of Mead Avenue and•the. easterly line of Illinois Avenue and
that portion of Henry Street lying between the Weaterly line of
Mead Avenue and the easterly hne of Illinois Avenue exce,p:t the
City of Pasco retains the right to exercise and grant easements for
the construction,, repair, and maintenance of public utilities and
services over the north 20 feet of the south 30 feet of that portibn
of Henry Street being vacated, Stadium Park Addition to Pasco.,
Franklin County, Washington:, be ,and the same hereby i:s,, declared
t;o be vacated of any, public use whatsoever.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect 5 days after its passage and publi,cat_ion as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 17th
day of August, 1954.
