AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 435 AND BEING AN ORDINANCE
REZONING A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY BETWEEN STATE HIGHWAY NO. 11
AND ARTHUR STREET FROM RESIDENTIAL R-2 TO COMMERCIAL C-1
WHEREAS a petition requesting the change in zone
classification for the property described below has been filed
with the Planning Commission of the City of Pasco and Public
Hearing was held on December 9, 1952 by the Planning Commission
of the City of Pasco and it appearing that the public interest
would be best served by the granting of such petition, NOW,
THEREFORE,
IT IS ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Pasco as follows:
SECTION I: From and after the effective date of
this Ordinance that property lying in the Northwest Quarter of
Section Twenty (20) and lying between State Highway No. 11 and
Arthur Street, the Southern boundary of which is the Northwest
Quarter line of Section Twenty (20), and bounded on the North
at the point where Arthur and the State Highway intersect, is
hereby declared to be rezoned from Residential R-2 to Commercial
C-1.
SECTION II: This Ordinance to be in full force and
effect five days after its passage and publication.
