.i ORDINANE NO S 10 �
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF MONEY FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE EMERGENCY FUND AND DECLARING THAT AN
EMERGENCY EXISTS.
The City Eouiiciloof the City of Pasco do ordain as follows:
Section)That an emergency exists, which emergency has arisen since the
present budget ordinance was passed, in that the City of Pasco,
had agreed to pay to Graves,Kiser & Graves the sum of $2500.00
for setting up the bond.blec.tion data and supervvising the is -
suance of bonds for the City Filtration Plant,which bond election
was hald and bonds authorized on the 5th day of November, 1946;
And that the City Council had agreed to pay the sum of $149.00
to Beards lee Merrill for preparing final report 6n the City Fil-
tration Plant to be submitted to the State Development Board for
approval State assistance in financing the building of the said
filtration pant; That the City Council had agreed to pay said
sums in January, 19471but the the matter was overlooked when the
city budget for 1947 was prepared and no provision made in said
budget for the payment of said sums and there is no provtion can
be made for the payment of said sums other than by declaring an
emergency, and it is necessary to transfer funds from the general
fund to the emergency fund:
Section 2,
That the sum of $2649.00 be and the same is hereb+ran-
fered from the general fund of the City of Pasco,to the emergency
fund of the City of Pasco,and the City Treasurer is hereby ordered
and directed to make such transfer of funds.
Section 3.
This ordinance to be in full force and effect five days
after its passage and publication.
