THE CITY CO UNC IL OF THE CITY OF PA SCO DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 6 of Ordinance No. ,3 c?
passed by the city Council December 28, 1931 be amended
to read as follows: "Section 6. It shall be unlawful
for any blinds, screens =or other obstruction 'to be placed
or used in any rooms where such billiard tables, or pool
tables or card tables shall be kept or operated, to pre-
vent fullview of.said.room from the street on which said
room shall front', or froi ,the main portion of the said
room -so occupied; that is no. curtains, boxes, or partitions
or any other obstructions shall inclose any room in the
interior! of such,• pool hall. No games of any kind shall be
conducted in any room or structure opening off of or con-
nected w th'any pool or billiard hall or public card room
licensed under the•provisions.of, this ordinance, and rib
such games shall be conducted.in any booth or box in said
public card r-oom.
Provided further, that. -t shall be unlawful for any
proprietor, agent or employee of any pool hall or billiard
hall or card room to allow any person under the age of 21
years to remaintherein, either -as a „loiterer, spectator,
agent or employee or player,• and, it shall be no defense -to
proprietor,' agent or employee of said pool or billiard
hall or card room, that he believe that the said -minor was
of age-or.that the said minor misrepresented his age shall
be no defense.
` Itis further provided that'any person between the ages
of 18 and 21 years of age who shall Misrepresent his age
and thereby be allowed to remain in said pool or billiard
hall, or card.room, shall be deemed guilty of violating`
this.section and be punished as provided in Section 12 of.:,.
this ordinance,"
Section 2, That Section 8 of Ordinance No'. _?9./
passed by.the City Council December 28, 1931 be amended to
read as, follows:, "Section 8>.. No pool hall, soft drink
establishment -or public card ro.om shall at any time have
therein' any intoxicat.irig liquor, provided that where the
proprietor thereof is the holder of a license issued under
and by the authority of the Washington State Liquor Act
for the . sale o�e beer off"• wine "at the premises, the posses-
sion or sale -.of beer or wine as the same is defined in said
Act, shall n&it :.const•i gte.,,a violation of this ordinance."
Section 3. That Section 10 of Ordinance No,

Section 4. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. -3-

to read as follows! "Section 14. The City Council hereby
declares that the peace, order and good government of the
City of Pasco requires :that dancing shall not be permitted
in Public card rooms in said city. Therefore, no public
dsnc -ng ' shall be permitted in any public card room in sr).Ad
city and the permitting thereof shall constitute a vibig-
tion of this ordinance and sufficient reason for the
revocation of any license issued thereunder and held by
the proprietor of.such public card room permitting such
dancing.
