AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING .FOR THE MANNER OF SELLING GRAVES, LOTS AND
SUB -DIVISIONS OF THE CITY VIEW, CEMETERY OF THE CITY OF PASCO,, AND
A aNDING ORDINANCE NO. 329 ENTITLED "ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FROM
FRA,KLIN LODGE, NO. 60, MTIGHTS OF PYTHIAS, OF THE TRACT OF LAND
TO BE DEDICATED BY THEM AS THE 'CITY VIEW CEETTERY' AND DEEDED TO
THE CITY OF PASCO AND CREATING A CEMETERY FUND AND DEFINING ITS
USES AND PURPOSES AND PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION AND SALE OF
LATS OR GRAVES IN SAID CEMETERY WITH OR WITHOUT PERPETUAL CARE AND
CREATING THE POSITION OF CEMETERY SUPERINTENDENT AND FIXING HIS
SALARY"
"THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.",.
Section P: That Section W of Ordinance No.. 329 of the
City of Pasco, which section reads as follows:
"Graves, Lots and subdivisions of said cemetery may be
sold for burial purposes only and until otherwise ordered
by the Council, the following prices shall be charged:
With perpetual care,, $25. per grave; without perpetual
care $15. per grave. In addition to the foregoing charge
there shall be made a charge of $15.00 for digging, crib.
bing and closing the grave and furnishing board marker for
adult size graves and $10.00 for infants or small size
graves. Said amounts must in all cases be paid and certif-
icate procured .from the City Treasurer that said sums have
been paid before internment,"
Bp and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Graves, lots and subdivisions of said cemetery may be sold
for burial purposes only, and until otherwise ordered by the Coun-
cil the following prices shall be charged:.
. With perpetual care 325. per grave, without perpetual care
$15. per grave.
In addition to the foregoing charge there shall be made a
charge of 1p15:00 for digging., cribbing and closing the grave and
furnishing board marker for adult size graves and $10. for infants'
or small size graves, Said amounts must in all cases be either
paid in cash and certificate procured from the City Treasurer that
said sums have been paid before internment or upon written agree-
ment to pay the same, which said written agreement shall be signed
by the purchaser and some other person signing as joint obligator
with said purchaser and said written agreement shall be presented
to and filed with the City Clerk before internment i•s made in said
grave or lot. Such written agreement shall be an absolute promise
to nay the full amount and shall fix a date for the payment thereof,
which date shall be not more than sixty days from the date of ex-
ecution of said agreement,
