An ordinance vacating portions of the Plat of Grays East Riverside Addition to
Pasco,Franklin Coiinty,Washington.

Section I.That the petition to vacate portions of the plat of Gray's
East Riverside Addition to Pasco,Franklin Co:,nty,Weshington, came on regularly
for hearing, after due notice,as required by law,with acceptance of service
of such notice by all aeras of the owners within the area sought to be vacated
in said addition; that said hearing was held on the 5th. day of August,1919.at
the hour of 8.30 P.m. at the City Hall,in the City of Pasco,Washington,as
provided in said notice. 'Therefore be it further ordained as follows:
Section II. That that certain portion of Gray's East Riverside Addition
to the said City of Pasco,within the r'ollowing boundaries, to -wit:
Commencing at the intersection of the south line of Lot 32,Railroad
Block in said Addition with the East line of the right-of-way of
the Northern Pacific Railway Company's main line; Thence proceeding
easterly along the south line of said Lot 32 to the intersection
of Railroad Street: thence soil_therly along the west line if Railroad
Street to the south line of River Avenue; thence easterly along the
south line of said River Avenue to the east line of First Street -
thence northerly alongthe east line of First Street to the so-th
line of Washington Avenue: thence easterly along the south line of
Washington Avenue to the west line of Third Street; thence southerly
along the said west line of 'Third Street to a point where the south
line of the alley in Block 104 intersectswith the said west line of
Third Street; thence easterly on a line parallel with,and along the
south line of the alleys in Blocks 104 and 105 to the east line of
said addition; thence southerlyalong the east line of said addition
to the south line of said addition;thence westerly along the south
line of said addition to the intersection ofs.id south line of said
addition with the right- of -way of the Northern Pacific Railway Com-
panp� main line; thence northerly along said ri7ht-of-way and along
the west line of said addition to the point of beginning.be,and the
same is hereby vacated,and the title to the streets and alleys within
said ^rea so vacated are hereby declared to revert to the abbuting
property owners,their heirs and assigns,as provided by law.
That the original plat is herewith filed and marked Exhibit
"A" and the portions of said plat as vacated are shown as Tract "A"
of exhibit "B" herewith filed.
Section III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five day
from and after its passage and publication.

foregoing is a true and correct copy of the Ordinance entitled as therein
stated,and passed and approved as Ordinance No.296, of the Ordinances of the
City of Pasco; That the said Ordinance was published in the Pasco Herald,a
weekly newspaper published in the City of Pasco, for more than six months
prior thereto; that the said publication occurred on the 7th.d��y of August
1919.and the said Ordinance therefor became effective on the 12th. d -y of
August, 11+19.

An ordinance providing for the pl,:cing of suitable markers
eomonly called "silent policemen" in the streetx intersections
of the City of Pasco,providing a penalty for the mutilating
distroying or removiing of the same,and repealing all ordinances
or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith.
The City Council of the City of Pasco do ordain as follows:
Section 1. There shall be placed in the middle of the street
intersections of such down town or business streets as the
City Council shall from time to time direct,suit.ble posts mxfmarkig=
or markers of the kind or character commonly called "silent
policemen" for the p»rpose of marking such street intercoction
and assisting in the direction of traffic thereon.Such posts or
markers shall be placed and maintained by the Street Superin-
tendant and shall be of character or design approved by him,
and when so placed shall be regarded as an improvaent thereon.
Section 2. Any person who shall wilfully mutilate,distroy
or remove any such po„t or marker when so placed,shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof be fined
in any sum not exceeding $50.00
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect five
days after its pa.srage and publication.
