An Ordinance regulating the use of water for irrigation purposes in the
City of Pasco, and fixing penalties for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T14E CITY OF PASCO:
Section 1. It shall be iuzlawful for any person to open any tap or hydrant in

any parking; strip of the city designed or used for the purpose of watering the
trees in said parking strip, or to stop or close any irrigating trench or canal,
or to break open or destroy any box or oti,er portion of said irrigating system.
Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall
be fined in any sum not lessthan ten nor more than fifty dollars and pay the coets
of prosectliog.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to open or permit to be open
any tap or hydrant connected with the irrigating system of the City of Pasco, on
any property owned, occupied or controlled by him between the hours of 10 o'clock)
A.M. and 5 o'clock P. I1. or between the hours of 10 o'clock P. M. and 6 o'clock
A.Pd. or to in any way use or cause to be used the water fro::, sand system within t
hours aforesaid.
Any pers n found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section
shall be fined in any sum not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dolls.. -s
and pay the costs of prosec::tion.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 284 and all ordinances or ,arts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall be in force and effect five days after its passage
and publication.
