HomeMy WebLinkAbout0293 Ordinance114 T ORDINANCE No. 292 AN Ordinance confirming assessment rolls for local improvement districts Numbers 25, 43 and 44, provided for by Ordinance Numbered 125, 172 and 173 for the maintenance, operation and repair of the water system of said districts for the year 1919, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the asses ment rolls for local improvement districts Numher 25, provided for by ordinance niul er 125; for local improvement district No. 43, provided for by ordinance No. 172; for local improvement district N.), 44, provided for by ordinance No, 173, -for maintenance, operating, and repairing the water systems in said district for the year 1919, as provided for under said ordinances, which provide for the improvement of certain districts in said city described in said ordinance by the purchase of a water right for irrigation and domestic purposes,for the construction of a piping system for the dis- tribution of the water, have been duly made and filed with the City Clerk and notice thereof given as regs:ired by law. Section 2. It is therefore ordered that the maintenance, operation and repair charges appearing in said assessment roll as equalized again..ct each separate lot, tract, or parcel of land or other property is hereby approved and confirmed and held to be the least amount such lot, tract or parcel of land is or will be benefited by the operation, maintenance, or repair of the said irrigc:.tion water system and up -keeping the same, WEEREFORE, after due condideration of :;uch assessment rolls for said assessment districts nutbered 25, 43 and 44, be and the same are hereby confirmed as the same now stand, and the city treasurer is directed to collect said assessments at the time and in the manner provided by law. THL CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That whereas, a petition has heretofore been filed with the citJr clerk of t e city of Pasco, praying for the vacation of the entire plat of Nosler's East Riverside Addition to Pasco, Franklin County, 4ashington, sai! petition being signed by all of the property owners and mortgage holders within said platted area as sought to be vacated, and notice thereof having been -iven to the said property owners and mortgage holders according to the laws of the State of t9ashington, and the hearing held on the first day of An m 1, 1919, at the hour of eight o'clock P. M. at the City I Hall, in the City of Pasco, as provided in said notice. SECTION 11. AND Whereas, it appears to the City C ­neil, from the acceptance of service on file with the Clerk that more than thirty days notice is reo_uired by law has been given, ;:ind it appearing that the .-aid addition, as platted, and the said streets and allays, as dedicated, can be more beneficially and fittingly used for gardening and agricultural purposes than as public streets and highways, and that said streets and alleys are in no manner used as streets or high ays by any person, and that the said streets and alleys huve never been used f®rthe purpose fixed by dedication, and it appear_ ing that no objections to said vacation has been filed or presented. SECTION III. That the said plat of Nosler's East Riverside Addition to Pasco, Fran'71in County, Washington, as shown by the rec`rds in the office of the County Auditor, in and for Franklin County, iashington, be, and the same is hereby vacated, and said dedication set aside and held for naught, and the title to the streets and alleys within said platted area so vacated is hereby declared to revert to the L'butting property owners, their heirs or assigns, vesting title in them as prescribed by law.
