HomeMy WebLinkAbout0244 Ordinance0 R D I N A N C E, N 0. 2 4 5 All ORDIITAITCE PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF THE CITY ATTORNEY: THE CITY BOUITCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DO O-RDAIN AS FOLLOUS: The duties of the City Attorney shall be as follows: 1. He shall attend all meetings of the City Council, and advise the Council on all matters requested. 2. He shall attend to all legal business of the City of Pasco. 3. He shall prosecute all City cases in police court when requested by the Chief of Police. 4. He shall furnish written legal opinion to all City Officials regarding the City Business when requested in writing. -H. He shall approve in writing all minutes of the City Council before they are read by the City Coluacil. 6. He shall receive no compensation for legal services except the regular salary, provided however that aill necessary expenses indurred in out of town trips shall be paid by the City upon the filing of properly receipted vouchers showing all empenses paid and incurred. THE CIT:: COUITCIL OF T:� CITY OF PASCO DO OtRDAIIT AS FOL--OI/S: SECTION 1: The City H alth O'ficer of the City of Pasco, to addition to performing all the duties imposed upon him by the Statutes of the State of 'iashington, and Ordinance 219 and other Ordinances of the City of Vasco, shall furnish medical attention without compensation From the City to all City prisoners confined in City Jail; that all vouchers for expenses incurred and perscriptions filled on order of the City Health Officer shall be itemized and show the name of the person in whose behalf the expense was incurred or perscriptions furnished. SECTI0IT 2: That the salary of the City Health Officer is hereby fixed at Twenty (V20.00) Dollars per month. SECTIOIT 3: That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and they a ---e hereby repealed. SECTIOIT 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect, February, lst. 1915.
