ROLL CALL: By Clerk's representative. Councilmen present were: S.K. Adams, M.R. Denney, Larry Larsen, Donald Linton, Al Schor and Bill Wilkins. Councilman Sam Hunt was absent from the meeting. Also present were: Acting Ci.tylHanager Harry Kinzer; City Attorney. Wayne Campbell; Battalion Chief Roger Nelson; Director of Public Works Iry Kau; Director Recreation/Parks Richard Erickson and Recreation Supervisor Paul Whitemarsh. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mr. Schor moved that the minutes of regular meeting, held January 2, 1973, be approved as written. Seconded by Mr. Wilkins. Motion carried. Pitts was recognized by the Mayor. to City View Cemetery and asked if some as it was the most logical exit from the staff would look into this. He called attention to the west entrance improvement could be made on that road cemetery. Mayor Linton stated that the At,this point, Councilman Denney responded publicly to allegations made by Mr. Pitts in the Tri City Herald; namely, condition of alleys and incorrect figure quoted as bonded indebtedness to each family in Pasco. r. 2 V MINUTES PASCO CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING RESIGNATIONS: JANUARY 16, 1973 CARL PERRY - LIBRARY BOARD: Mayor Linton acknowledged receipt of resignation from Carl Perry from the Library Board and accepted it "with regret." Mr. Denney requested that a letter of commendation be sent to Mr. Perry, expressing appreciation for his services from the City of Pasco. SUGGESTIONS FROM COUNCIL - GENERAL DISCUSSION: ANTI -DISCRIMINATION COMMITTEE: For the record,.Mayor Linton stated that the City of Pasco had no criticism of Pasco Anti -Discrimination Committee and hoped it continued. A & B be awarded to Waterworks Supply, and Schedule C be awarded to Pacific States Pipe. Seconded by Mr. Adams. Motion carried by roll call vote of six (6). AUTHORITY TO PROCEED - INDOOR SWIMMING POOL STUDY: Mr. Wilkins moved that staff be authorized to proceed with Feasibility Study of an Indoor Swimming Pool at a cost of $3,000. Seconded by Mr. Schor.
