PASCO CITY COUNCIL
RECONVENED BUDGET MEETING
CALL TO ORDER:
DECEMBER 21, 1970
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. by the Honorable G.E. Carter, Mayor.
ROLL CALL:
By Clerk's Representative. Councilmen present were: G.E. Carter, Hilda
Campbell, M.R. Denney, Robert Greenlee, Ed Hendler, Sam Hunt and George
Stork. Department Heads present included: Harry Kinzer, Harriet Putnam,
Ray MacDonald, Richard Erickson, Sandra Stanley and C.F. Whetsler. City
Manager M.B. Winegar and City Attorney Wayne Campbell were also present.
CONTINUATION OF BUDGET HEARING:
The City Manager distributed supplemental budget pages and outlined the
following changes:

Mr. Hendler moved that the City of Pasco adhere to price schedule for swimming
tickets in 1971; i.e., no allowance be made for free distribution of tickets due
to financial strain. Seconded by Mr. Denney. Motion carried by the following roll
call vote. YES: Carter, Campbell, Denney, Greenlee, Hendler and Stork. NO: Hunt.
(Councilmen Hendler and Denney both favored free swimming for all individuals in the
City of Pasco; however, voted on principle).
Councilman Denney asked the City Manager to report to the Council if he made any
changes in budget items. Mr. Winegar replied that he would.

Mayor Carter commended the Staff for their efforts in compiling 1971 budget.
Mr. Greenlee moved that this meeting be recessed until Tuesday, December 22, 1970.
`Seconded by Mr. Carter. Motion Carried.
Mr. Hendler suggdsted that all employees be sent Christmas'greeting under all the
Councilmen's signatures. (The staff will take care of this.)
ADJOURNMENT: Meeting recessed at 9:30 P.M.
