ROLL CALL: JUNE 26. 1963 Present were Mayor T. R. VanHoy; George R. Fisher, City Engineer -Supervisor; Clerk's representative and Mr, Stanley arrived at 2:02 P.M. In the audience were Lee McKeever from the Water Department and a representative from Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. OPENING OF BIDS: Call for Bids: "SEALED proposals for furnishing cast iron pipe f.o.b. car at Pasco, Washington, addressed to the Mayor and City Council of Pasco, Washington, and endorsed "Proposal for Cast Iron Pipe" will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Pasco, Washington until 1:00 P.M. PDT June 26, 1963, and will be opened 2:00 P.M.PDST at City Hall. The materials required are 10,800 lineal feet of 12" cast iron Tyton pipe; 5,400 lineal feet of 6" cast iron Tyton pipe.' *11 TWO BIDS were received, opened and read as follows: UNITED STATES PIPE AND FOUNDRY: 666 White Henry Stuart Building Seattle, Washington PACIFIC STATES CAST IRON PIPE CO.: 501-2 Oregon Bank Building Portland 4, Oregon ADJOURNED: Attest: 5% bid bond enclosed Delivery 10 days - beginning; and complete fast as required. 12" pipe $4.25 lineal foot: $ 45,900.00 6" pipe 1.775 lineal foot: 9,585.00 State Sales Tax 1,119.40 Total: $ 57,404.40 Begin delivery - 1 week; complete delivery 2 weeks. 12" pipe $4.45 lineal foot: $ 48,060.00 6" pipe 1.855 lineal foot: 105017.00 State sales tax 2,323.08 Total: $ 60,400.08 Bid opening meeting adjourned 2:08 P.M., June 26, 1963 (DST) May
