HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-11-1962 MinutesPASCO, WASHINGTON COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Honorable Mayor T.R. Van Hoy. ROLL CALL: SEPTEMBER I ' 1962-- -- I By Clerk. Councilmen present were G.E. Carter, L.R. Diemond, Ed Hendler, H.C. James, C.D.Kilbury, and Allen D. Stanley. Councilman R.L. Greenlee was absent. City Attorney R.G. Patrick and City Supervisor G.R. Fisher were present. R.S. Brown and G.S, Perry of the Dark Board, Park Superintendent Harry Wyman; Orville Olson and Duane Tabor of the Citizen's Committee were also present, with Mark L. Pence, architect. MEETING called at this time to review the plans for a Golf Course Club House and set a date and time for Call for Bids. Motion made by Hendler, seconded by Kilbury, to hold the meeting informally for discussion. Motion carried. Several copies of the plans were presented by Mr. Pence for review. He explained details of each sheet and answered questions a§ they were brought up. L.S. Perry traced the lighting and heating systems through for the purpose of clarification. Cost of constructing a basement,.also additions, was asked by Hendler. At this time the Clerk was called to the Planning Commission meeting. Mayor Van Hoy appointed Councilman C.D.Kilbbry to act as Clerk, Pro Tem. Mr. Pence stated fair cost estimates at $52,000.00. Mr. Perry suggested the present is the best.time to call for bids. Motion made.by Kilbury, seconded by Hendler to revert to regular Order ofBusiness. Motion carried. Motion made by Hendler, seconded by Kilbury, to accept plans. Motion carried. Motion made by Hendler, seconded by Kilbury, to Call for Bids -F.6 da.y;, September 28, 1962, 2:30 P.M. (D.S.T.) Advertisement for bid will be drawn by Rossi; Pence, subject to approval of the City Attorney. Motion waceied by roll call vote of six (6).
