SPECIAL MEETING COUNCIL CHAMBERS OCTOBER 3, 1960

CALL TO ORDER:
Meeting called to order at 8:05 P. M. Honorable Mayor Raymond Hicks presiding.
ROLL CALL:
By Clerk. Councilmen present were H. C. James, C. D. Kilbury, K. E. Moore, Ed T-bompson and
T. R. VanHoy. Absent were C.'R.°Combs and'G.'A. Grant. City Attorney Richard G. Patrick
was present.
Meeting called to adopt the Budget for 1961.
The Tentative Budget for 1961 was reviewed item by item and fund by fund.
GEORGE E. HEIDLEBAUGH, SHIRLEY SHEPPARD AND TOM JACKSON were present and requested more play
ground and directorship for Kurtzman Park.
HAROLD WYMAN, Park Superintendent, stated that he and the City Supervisor had already figured
a full time directorship for that park and $950.00 was added to the Recreation Leaders in the
budget.
Cemetery change was made in New Home and Office from $20,000.00 to $15,000.00 and the G. 0. B.
Receipts reduced accordingly:
Golf Course -- set aside.'
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion made by Kilbury, seconded by Moore to adjourn to regular meeting, 8:00 P. M., Tuesday,
October 4, 1960. Motion carried.
