PASCO-KENNEWICK BRIDGE: r A letter was read from the Chamber of Commerce Secretary and '"tanager informing the Mayor of'a meeting_to-be held April 14, 1954'at the "e.nnewick City Hall to discuss policy 'to be pursued in an effort to -prevent the casco-Kennewick Bridge from being turned to the'Benton-& Franklin Counties. Motion made by Avery, sec- onded by Connell to file. Motion carried. PASCO BOARD OF REALTORS (PLANS FOR PASCO): A letter was read--from"Secretary E. V. Hurley, submitting a resolution signed by Grant H. Stria§ham-with reference -to organizing a committee for the purpose of receiving across -section of ideas on planning. Members to be selected from six or more organizations. Motion made by Avery, seconded by Milne to file the resolution for study. Motion carried. RESIGNATION, DEL C. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Milne -to call for bids on Tuesday, April 20, 1954 at 8:00 P M. as per specifications furnished by the 'ark Board. Motion carried. BROWN): Mr. Brown presented a sketch of proposed improvements;,wish to call 'for bids when final specifications and drafts are ready for approval by the U. S. Eng- ineers. CLARK STREET: A petition presented by Basil Tdaib and the Richfield-0il Corporatiop requesting two portions of West Clark Street adjoining Blocks 3, 4 & 5, Petitt s 2nd Add'n be vacated of -public use. -.Motion made -by Bonnett, seconded -by Avery to turn this to the Street Committee for recommendation. Motion carried. WATER SERVICE EXTENSION. Mr. Lux: With reference-to:Albert Lux's request for.Water service to the 1600 block on Brown Street; he states at this time he has 70% of the property owners to be served in that block signed up*f or front footage payment which will off set approximately 75%'of the cost of extension. PASCO, WASHINGTON SEWER TRUNK LINE ON "A" STREET, EASTSIDE: Committee- reports that by installing 3,0.00 ft'of 12"'trunk line the property it owners could ,'take off laterals; this would -cost a proximately $150000.00. City Engineer estimates an approximate amount of- 30,000.00 to be left in the Treatment'Plant Fund. Motion made by Avery, seconded by Milne that the Eng- ineer draw upplans and specificat"ions on sewer trunk line for East "A" Street to make bids callable on May 4, 1954. Motion carried. WESTON REDI-MIX AGREEMENT: Tax* has not been paid. -'Motion-made by Bonnett, seconded by Avery to stop operation immmdiately unless taxes are paid and documents approved by the City Attorney. Motion carried. STREET COMMITTEE - TREES:' Trees on -the north -side of Court House are on City property. Motion made by Connell seconded by Craig that the Tree Trimmers request to trim be tabled. Motion carried. JAMES STREET grading is not complete. h REPORTS FROM OFFICERS: !; KURTZMAN'S PARK, EAST SIDE: Park Board is working on this. APPOINTMENTS: Mayor Custer at this time appointed Mr.-Joe'Bailey to succeed Del Isaacson on the Airport Committee, term expires July*15'. 1954 and after that date you will continue'to serve for -a full six year'te"rm which will end on July 15, 1960.
