to attend a reception on Friday.at 8:00 P. M., April 9, 1954 at Richland. Motion
made by Craig, s econded by Avery to file letter. Motion carried.
PASCO-KENNEWICK BRIDGE:

A letter was read from the Chamber of Commerce Secretary and '"tanager informing
the Mayor of'a meeting_to-be held April 14, 1954'at the "e.nnewick City Hall to
discuss policy 'to be pursued in an effort to -prevent the casco-Kennewick Bridge
from being turned to the'Benton-& Franklin Counties. Motion made by Avery, sec-
onded by Connell to file. Motion carried.
PASCO BOARD OF REALTORS (PLANS FOR PASCO):
A letter was read--from"Secretary E. V. Hurley, submitting a resolution signed
by Grant H. Stria§ham-with reference -to organizing a committee for the purpose
of receiving across -section of ideas on planning. Members to be selected from
six or more organizations. Motion made by Avery, seconded by Milne to file the
resolution for study. Motion carried.
RESIGNATION, DEL C. ISAACSON:
A letter was readefrom-Mr. Isaacson tendering his resignation effective April 4,
1954, account moving out of the City-:- ' Motion m de by Avery, seconded by Connell
to accept the resignation. Motion carried. o
TRANSFERS:
A-letter-was-readefrom the'City Treasurer stating that the Auditor has requested
the following transfers: $9460-17 from Construction Fund, Ordinance 774 to the
Frincipal'and Interest Account. Motion made by Avery, -'seconded by Craig author-
izing transfer as requested by the Auditor. Motion carried.

AIRPORT HUTMENTS FOR SALE:
A letter was read -from 0. V. Cotton, Airport Manag-er, requesting a•call for, bids
on the sale of 16 hutments, 50' x 14' x 62.
Motion made by Avery, seconded- by Combs to- advertise for bids on Tuesday, 'play
4, 1954 -as requested by the Airport Manager. Minimum price set at $50,00. Motion
carried.
HOUSING.AUT HORITY LEASE:

A letter was'read from games Leavy with Lease attached, also notice of public
hearing. They wish to lease city streets and -alleys for a -period of three (3)
years for the sum of 01.00 per year. 'Motion made by Craig, seconded by Bonnett
to hold the public.hearing on'Tuesda,y, 8:00 P. M., April 20, 1954- M(btion carried.

PARK DEPARTMENT BIDS:.
A letter was- read from -Harold 'A. Wyman;- Superintendent of the Recreation Department,
requesting authorization for a new Lavoratory Building at Volunteer Park. Motion
made by Bonnett, seconded by Milne -to call for bids on Tuesday, April 20, 1954 at
8:00 P M. as per specifications furnished by the 'ark Board. Motion carried.
PARK DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT:
A letter was read desiring -to call for bids on one used tractor and one new gang
mower. -Motion made by Avery,' seconded by Milne to call for bids as requested on
Tuesday, April 20, 1954 at 8:00 P. M. Motion carried.

when final specifications and drafts are ready for approval by the U. S. Eng-
ineers. Motion made'b y VanHoy,.seconded by Craig to`permit the Park Board to
make preparations for call for bids. Motion carried.

AIRPORT SUPPLEMENTARY QUITCLAIM DEED:
A letter was read from C:_M. Graff, Regional Counsel, General Service Administration
stating the attached document to be a <new 'original- instrument to replace former
Deed dated'July '209 1953 and lost following City'Treasurer obtaining same from
Post - Office -and signing for same Motion made _by Bonnett, s econde-d'by VanHoy to
accept Deed and authorize the City Clerk to record Deed at the Court House.
Motion carried.

PETITION - VACATE PORTIONS OF -W. CLARK STREET:
A petition presented by Basil Tdaib and the Richfield-0il Corporatiop requesting
two portions of West Clark Street adjoining Blocks 3, 4 & 5, Petitt s 2nd Add'n
be vacated of -public use. -.Motion made -by Bonnett, seconded -by Avery to turn
this to the Street Committee for recommendation. Motion carried.
WATER SERVICE EXTENSION. Mr. Lux:
With reference-to:Albert Lux's request for.Water service to the 1600 block on
Brown Street; he states at this time he has 70% of the property owners to be
served in that block signed up*f or front footage payment which will off set
approximately 75%'of the cost of extension. 'Mbt16h made by Avery, seconded
by Craig approving water service extension to serve the 1600 block on West
Brown Street. 6,Motion carried.

Committee- reports that by installing 3,0.00 ft'of 12"'trunk line the property it
owners could ,'take off laterals; this would -cost a proximately $150000.00.
City Engineer estimates an approximate amount of- 30,000.00 to be left in the
Treatment'Plant Fund. Motion made by Avery, seconded by Milne that the Eng-
ineer draw upplans and specificat"ions on sewer trunk line for East "A" Street
