CALL TO ORDER:
Meeting called to order at 8:03 P. M. Honorable Mayor John Beck presiding.

Five bonified bids were received, opened and read

One sub -bid was received from M. F. Schultz and was considered out of order.
Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Hicks to turn bids to the Consultant Engineer
F. Zeidlhack for study and report leter. Motion carried.
BOAT BASIN:
Committee report on Boat Basin; they feel that now is•the time to obtain a con-
cessioner to take charge of the Citys interest at the Basin. Government has not
relinquished property to the City with requirements set out. Renting to- Concess-
ioner on a flat annual rental fee, also a per cent of annual business receipts
was suggested; setting up a form on City requirements based on Govennment restrict-
ions. .Motion made by Hicks to adopt a form and call for bids. Motion withdrawn.
Motiori, made by Hicks, seconded by Connell that bids be formulated and called `"ay
19,.1953 at 8:00 P. M. Motion carried by roll call vote of three (3). Bonnett
voting "No". Motion made by Connell, seconded by Hicks that City.;Attorney draw
up amdOrdinance including Yacht Basin in Park.System with all other parks. Motion
carried.
,WATER -SERVICE, H. EARL CLACK COMPANY:
John Scott requests water service to their property on East Lewis, Block 19 & 24,
Wehe's 1st Addition. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Combs that Water be ext-
ended bn front footage payment for blocks 19 & 24, Wehe's 1st Addition and that
a contract be drawn to make refund of any excess payments to H. Earl Clark Company.
Motion carried by roll call vote of four (4).
READING OF ORDINANCES:
ORDINANCE NO. 742:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN
PASCO IMPROVEMENT COMPANY'S FIRST ADDITION TO PASCO
Motion made by Connell, seconded by Bonnett that Ordinance No. 1742 be given the
third reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 742 was read. Motion made by Hicks,
seconded .by Combs that Ordinance No. 742 has been given the third reading. Motion
carried. Motion made by Connell, seconded by Combs to adopt Ordinance No. 742.
Motion carried by roll call vote of four (4).
ORDINANCE NO. 743:
THIS BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 435
AND BEING AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
BUCK'S SECOND ADDITION FROM COMMERCIAL C-1 TO RES-
IDENTIAL R-2

third reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 743 was read. Motion made by Connell,

THIS BEING AN ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY IN
THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF PASCO, APPROPRIAT-
ING MONEY TO MEET THE SAME, AND PROVIDING FUNDS
FOR PAYING DEDUCTIBLE LOSSES UNDER THE CITY OF
PASCO INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR THE BALANCE OF THE
YEAR 1953
Motion made by Connell, seconded by Combs that Ordinance No. 744 be given the third
reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 744 was read. Motion made by.Connell, sec-

PASCO, AND BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 'ZONE
CLASSIFICATION OF THE SOUTH 210 FEET OF THE SOUTH-
WEST QUARTER OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 9 NORTH, RANGE
30E.W.M., FROM RESIDENTIAL R-2 TO COMMERCIAL C-1
Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Commell that Ordinance No. 71.8 be given the
third reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 74 was read. Motion made by Bonnett,
seconded by Connell that Ordinance No. 748 has been given the first reading. Motion

reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 749 was read. Motion made by Connell,
