REGTTLAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE BY, UNANIMOT'S CJNSENT :
SEWER SERVICE, EXTENSION TO DESERTAIRE MOTEL, LEE MUDD:
Mr. Mudd states he would like to build two more cabins and connect to City sewer;
charges and ordinances were discussed. His property is not platted, therefore
he was denied a building permit. Clarence Grigg spoke relative to platting. The
Council advised Mr. Mudd to contact owners of unplatted area and work out a sat-
isfactory plat.
F. W. DUKELOW owning parcel of land on the North also wishes water and sewer
service and charges are prohibitive account property not being platted. He was
advised to plat before problem can be solved.
MERRY-GO-ROUND LICENSE FEE. CHARLES E. JOHNSON:
Mr. S. Mullens states that Mr. Johnson'desires to set up a Kiddies Merry-go-round
just north of Sigman's Store on North 4th Avenue. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded
by Avery that License fee be -set at $50.00 per month or a maximum of $150.00 for
season ending September 30�h, 1952. Motion carried.
P. U. D. POLES, HARRY HUDLOW:
Mr. Hudlow states their approval on 115,000 voltage line had been received and
they are very anxious to begin installing poles which will be very large to carry
this large line. Court Street being jogged is causingtrouble in routing line.
City Engineer and Mr. Hudlow to figure out most feasible route and make recommend-
ation.
WERE STREET, FRANK COLE'S PROPERTY:
Purchasing property to extend Wehe Street south to A Street was discussed. Frank
Cole was'present�as a -portion of his property, Block 128, Pasco Land Co's First
Addition, is involved. Street Committee to investigate further and make report.
STADIUM PARK ADDITION PLAT:
Clarence Grigg presented the final plat on this addition for adoption and signat-
ure. A discussion followed regarding restricted covenant.
ORDINANCE NO. 718:
AN ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALL ROADS,
STREETS, BLOCKS AND ALLEYS IN THAT PORTION OF
PASCO IMPROVEMENT COMPANY'S FIRST ADDITION LYING
WEST OF THE WEST LINE OF MEAD STREET.
Motion made by'Bonnett, seconded by Overlie that Ordinance No. 718 be given the
second reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 718 was read. Motion made by
Bonnett, seconded by Overlie that Ordinance No. 718 has been given the second

asking for authority to call for bids. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Connell
that bids be called on Street Oiling Program on July 15, 1952. Engineer to set up
specifications. Motion carried.
SAND BLOW, ONEONTA STREET:
A letter was read from Mr. S. J. Jambor, 932 Oneonta, regarding sand blowing from
gravel pit causing lawn trouble and reseeding. City Attorney to answer letter.
Planting rye on portion that blows was suggested.

in 100 gallon lots.
Street Department: 60 gallons White traffic paint $$202.80 and 12 storm sewer
rings and lids §276.86.
Police Judge: Filing Cabinet $31.14
Fire :Department: Fire Inspection books $$36.00 to be paid from supplies and mater-
ials and materials to repair air. conditioner $$35.00 from equipment repair.
Motion made by Overlie, seconded by Connell allowing purchases. Motion carried
by roll call vote of six (6).

ORDINANCE NO. 700:,
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FIREMEN IN THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING AND CREATING A PENSION SYSTEM
AND A PENSION FUND IN SAID CITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROTISIONS OF THE STATUTES OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON,
AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 91 OF THE LAWS OF 1947; AND RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH.

third reading as amended. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 700 was read as amended.

AND APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONIES FROM THE AIRPORT FUND
OF THE, CITY OF PASCO FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PICK-UP TRUCK
Motion made by Overlie, seconded by Connell that Ordinance No. 714 be given the
first reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 714.was read. Motion made by
Overlie, seconded by Bonnett that Ordinance No. 714 has been given the first read-
ing. Motion carried. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Connell that Ordinance
No. 714 be given the second reading by title only. Motion carried. Ordinance

The Sexton requests through the City Engineer authority to extend Cmnetery Fence
line. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Overlie allowing improvements up to
x¢400.00 if money is is the Budget. Motion carried by roll call vote of six (6).
