Honorable Mayor Pro tem opened the meeting. Honorable Mayor John Beck arrived twenty minutes late -and presided over the meeting. ROLL CALL: By Clerk. Councilmen present, J. A. Avery, L. E. Bonnatt,- C. R. Combs, S. A. Con- nell, Raymond Hicks and C. S. Milne. Mayor John Beck and Councilman T.,G. Overlie arrived late. 0. B. Olson, -City Attorney was present. COMMUNICATIONS: P BLANKET BOND: A letter was read:from Dunning -Ray Insurance Agency relative to a blanket bond (' covering.all:city.employees. This was turned.to the. Insurance Committee for report. I, BIDS ON ELECTRIC LAMPS: i' Three bids submitted December 4, 1951 as follows, were considered: Empire Electric Company, 25% off and will stock lamps. GRIGGS', list price less 25%, plus all taxes. BLAKE MOFFITT & TOWNE Sylvania lamps, 37% standard packages o _or, more; 320A broken packages. In conclusion motion was made by Connell, seconded by Overlie to award the contract to the Empire Electric Company. Motion carried by roll call vote of seven (7). Motion carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS:. WATER: Meter boxes, wooden or concrete, more time asked. . LOADING & UNLOADING 'ZONE: Electrolux Service, 727 W. Lewis; waiting for signs. CARD TABLE LICENSE: J. D. Evans, 128 Lewis. Motion made by Milne, seconded y Bonnett thaf card table license be granted. Motion carried. REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT: ROYAL TAXI 'CABOWNERS, the Bunch Brothers were present relative to taxi cab license or ; they ma a application for 13 cabs and paid fee to cover.; eight cabs are covered by Insurance; five licenses not furnished; following a discussion and re- ferring to*Ordinances the City Attorney is of the opinion that the Royal Cab Co. may retain, 13 cab licenses as per 1951, eight of which are covered by Insurance and in proper order for service; five covered by fee only but not to be put in service,until Insurance is filed to cover and identify same. RICHARD SCHULTZ, JUDGMENT NO. 6505: A letter was read from City Attorney 0. B. Olson submitting a copy of Judgment rendered in favor of Richard Schultz from defendant City of Pasco in the overall amount of 5,197.90• Warrant payable to Richard Schultz and Edward G. Cross.
