CALL TO ORDER:
Meeting called to order at 8:15 P. M. Honorable Mayor John Beck presiding.

ROLL CALL:

Raymond Hicks,-C.,S. Milne and T. G. Overlie. Sity ,Attorney Orville-B. Olson was
absent. I
BILIS :
A voucher and tax form presented for action of the Council to submit tax to the
Tax Commission. Motion made by Avery,. seconded by Bonnett authorizing payment.
Motion carried by roll call vote of seven (7).
LIME:
Water Manager Myron Radelmiller requests permission to purchase 10,000 lbs of lime
which:will cost approximately $200.00. Motion made b y Avery, seconded by Overlie
authorizing purchase. Motion carried by roll call vote of seven (7).
SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT:
Mr. H. W. Kramer, consulting Engineer, with the James W. Carey -H. W. Kramer &
Associates of Seattle, was present in answer to City Engineer's letter of Sept-
ember 6, 1951. Mr. Kramer spoke at length and showing pictures of plants such
as he was suggesting for the City of Pasco. He stated the cost, expansion pro-
lrision,. etc to accommodate 20 or 30 thousand population with one pumping station
located on 5th and Ainsworth, a complete primary treatment plant, 3,000,000als
per day, medium or average flow will cost $291,000.00; Engineering cost of 4� and
general supervision not included. Pump Station to cost approximately $14,500.00.
John W. Cunningham & Associate's letter was read, stating the proposed plant des-
igned capacity of 4i-M.G.D. with a medium flow of 22 M.G.D. channels and pumps desi-
gned for a maximum of 9 M.G.D. was designed for site in Block 40 and 41, Riverside
Addition. Figures dubmitted as an estimate f or the depot location dM $431,000.00
complete with engineering. It will take four months to complete plans as new data
will be necessary on the new site.
Henry M. Jackson's letter was read stating Senator Magnuson now has necessary data
prepare andintroduce a bill for the transfer of property from the Army to the
City of Pasco.
Mr. Kramer will make preliminary study of needs for $600.00. Sewage Disposal Plant
Committee to come up with recommendation
CLAIMS: Rex Schimke (Swimming Pool):
A claim -for damages of Emil Schimke individually and as guardian of Rex Schimke
a minor, filed in the Clerk's Office August 22, 1951 was read. City Attorney
recommends that claim be denied. Motion made by Hicks, seconded by Overlie that
the claim be denied. Mation carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
At 12:00 P. M. motion made by Bonnett,-dec nded by Avery that the meeting recess
to Wednesday, 8:00 P. M., September 121 19 J1. Motion carr.
