City Engineer George Fisher studied the bids and recommended the Fusco Auto Bid.
Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Grigg that the bid of'the Pasco Auto Company
on the two -door Sedan Chevrolet at $1,678.49 be purchased. Motion carried by
roll call vote of six (6).
POLICE DEPARTP.7`ENT - CAR:
One bid was received, opened and read as follows:
Pasco Auto Company:
1950 nevrolet Styleline Spec. Sedan, less
trade in $1150.00
Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Overlie that the Pasco Auto bid on the Sedan
Delivery for the Police Department with trade in be accepted. Motion carried by
roll call vote of six ('6).
GATE VALVE BIDS:
Five bids were received, opened and vead as follows:
Rensselaer Valve Company $ 860.00
Hughes & Company 882.00
Waterworks Supplies Company 760.55
A. Consolidated Supply Company 816.00
The Cha man Valve Mfg Company; Chapman 61 892.44
Chapman 592 821.34
Motion made by Hostetter, seconded by Bonnett that bids be turned to the City
Engineer for recommendation. Motion carried.
City' "Engineer George Fisher recommends the Rensselaer Valve Company bid for
$860.00. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Churchman to accept the City
Engineer's recommendation.
REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT:
Mr. Louen requests another Public Hearing on L. I. D. Bond issue for the sewer
installation. A discussion followed. A petition was produced by Mr. Louen,
and discussed but not filed; same'was returned to Mr. Louen by Charles Grigg.
No action taken on public hearing.
FOSTER ADDITION UTILITIES:
John F. Eubank and Wendall Brown stated they were interested in purchasing
-property in the Foster Addition for a building project of 20. -houses or more.
They are making inquiry as to City policies on street. His understanding is
that the City will grade and gravel when built up to justify, when money is
available will g 1 streets. Firm is prepared to pay front footage, same pro-
cedure as extended other builders. Will be financed by F. H. A. Loan.
Motion made by Grigg, seconded by Bonnett that the Mayor be authorized to write a
letter as outlined,upon installation of curbs, grade and gravel. Motion carried.

Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Hostetter that utilities extensions to
Foster Addition be turned to the City Engineer for approximate costs of Sewer
and Water and report next meeting, December 6, 1950. Motion carried.
APEX TAVERN LIQUOR LICENSE:
State Liquor Inspector informed the•I`-.'Iayor that the Apex Tavern is applying for
a license. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Hostetter that the.Council
recommerl-d that the Mayor not approve the license.. Motion carried.
HOUSING AUTHORITY
(REPORT):.
Chairman of the Committee, W. A. Nelsonrequested by phone that more time be
allowed. This was granted. -
WM. O'NEAL requests renewal of•lis chauffeur's license. Chief of Police spoke
in regard to Ordinance relating that O'neal had been involved three times on
liquor violation and license was lifted on'the third violation. M'cKibbin does
not recommend that the license be restored. Motion made by Grigg, seconded by
Churchman to follow recommendation of the Chief of Police not to reinstate.
Motion carried by roll call vote of four (4). Hostetter voting "No".
BUNCH (TAXI ORDINANCE):
The Bunch Brothers were present and interested in the passing of a new taxi
ordinance. They were advised this would be taken care of in the regular order
of business.
PETITION: WATER TOWER SITE:
A petition was read, signed by eleven signers protesting the proposed location
of a water tower in the vicinity of Margaret &--Henry.
PEERLESS PUMP COMPANY (Mr. Schroeder, Representative) .-

Mr. Schroeder spoke to the Council relative topump__/-,) shipped to the City of
Pasco which hav-P never been paid for. Water T:Ianager reviewed the history of
the pump and explained the recommendations of John 1''f. Cunningham & Associates.
In conclusion the City Attorney is to study the contract and transactions and
give a ruling on action to be taken.
PARK FUND: (Transfer $5,000.00)
A report was read from the finance committee requesting that the City Treasurer
be authorized to transfer $5,000.00 from the General'Fund to the Park Fund,
account Park Fund being $570.80 in the red this date. Motion made by Hicks,
seconded by Churchman authorizing the transfer. Motion carried by roll call
vote of six (6).
BUDGET COPIES:
A copy of the Budget for October of all departments was furnished each member
by the City Clerk.
