He will put in` new curb. This being on a highway that Department will have to be contacted. CIVIL SERVICE SECRETARY: Chairman of Civil Service Commission requests that''$10.00 per month be approved for the Secretary's salary. AIRPORT LEASE CATICELLED: A letter was read from the Bureau of R6clamation, Coulee Dam, Washington, term- inating lease effective April 15, 1950. ASSIGNIdENT OF LEASE FR011 SCHORN TO 11ATIOITAL LEAD COE-PAI.Y: Request that lease at Air Base in Building 35, be assigned to the National Lead Company pending negotiation of new lease due June 10, 1950. Granted without dissent. Coffland desires to have a street opened up adjoining; his property on the 'forth. l'lishes to dedicate 30 feet to the City for street purposes and would like -to have the City request 30 feet from the State Highway property to the North for the sane purpose. The Mayor requested that he bring this before the Planning '-ornmissi.on. Coffland's property description: the northerly 300 feet of that part of the S?, SWQ, SW4 of Section 20, Twp 9 N, R 30, Z.W. m. which lies west of the west right of way line of the State Highway. Motion made by Grigg that a letter be sent to the State Highway Department requesting a 30 foot strip of the southern bound- ary of their property and data to be turned to the Planning Commission for approv- al. WATER EXTENSION,: 0 To Blocks 11 & 8, Sylvester's Second Addition on Brown Street from Norbert to Francis; four owners and six building sites. Motion made by Grigg, that when. six building sites have paid front footage that extensions be made. Motion seconded. by Bonnett and carried by roll call vote of six (6). PAINT, CHEV COUPE: Fire Chief -requests permission to paint the Chev. OPENING A STREET EAST:: Mr: Ii. Itlotion carried by roll call vote of'six (6): BELL TOWER REP10VAL: Fire Chief stated a member of 'bile Fire Department would dismantel the bell tower for the material in it including the bell. Motion made by Grigg that this be turned to the Building Committee with power to act. Motion carried.
