Motion carried unanimous. REFUND -Reliable Cab for $30.00: A refund was requested by Harold T. Baker for $30.00 paid. on Taxi License applic- ation, January 1949, Receipt No. 3191. Motion made by Bonnett, seconded by Overlie that a refund be issued. Prlotion carried by roll call vote of five (5). LEASE -Range Station (Airport): A lease agreement was read between Franklin County Irrigation District No. 1 and the City of Pasco, to install a range station on property described as follows: The 'Nest 410 feet of even width of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter (NE'NVA NE ) of Section Thirty-three (33), Township Nine N) North, Range Thirty (30), E.W.M., except the East 385 feet of even width of the north 400 feet of even width thereof. Motion made by Nelson, seconded by Overlie that the lease be approved. Motion carried unanimous. I I E PASCO, WASHINGTON READING OF ORDINANCES: ORDINANCE NO. 668: AN ORDINANCE CREATING A CEMETERY FRUST FUND AND DEFINING ITS USES AND PURPOSES, AND DECLARING ALL LANDS IN CITY VIEW CMIETERY ELIGIBLE TO PERPETUAL CARE AND AMENDING ORDINANCES NO. 3292 358 and 439. Motion made by Nelson, seconded by Bonnett that Ordinance No: 668 be given the first reading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 668 was read. Motion made by Overlie, seconded by Bonnett that Ordinance No. 668 has been given the first reading. Motion carried. TRUCK BY-PASS: The Police Committee recommend that the City Attorney contact state Highway Department for authority for truck by-pass from 10th & Ainsworth to 4th and Ainsworth; North on 4th to A, east on A to Oregon; north on Oregon to the Spokane Highway. The recommendation was changed to a motion so made by Bonnett, seconded by Nelson and carried. THE POLICE COM14ITTEE recommend letting the Fire Department use the Coupe and pick up as they make routine inspections, also that the "paddy waggon" remain in the Police Department as requested by Chief McKibbin. Some members request more time to look into the matter. This was granted. PARKING 4th & LDPU S: Police Committee recommend the restriction of parking at 4th & Lewis for 165 feet east, west and north of intersection between four and six P. M. interest being to elirAinate congestion. Motion so made by Nelson, seconded by Bonnett. Motion carried.
