Meeting called to order at 4::05 P. N.
ROLL CALL:

Honorable Mayor John Beck presiding.
By Clerk. Councilmen present were L. E. Bonnett,°C. S. Churchman, Chas. Grigg,
Raymond Hicks, A. T. Hostetter and T. G. Overlie also City Attorney Orville B.
Olson and City Engineer C. B. chain.
BUS FRANCHISE DEFERRED:
A'special meeting was called relative to getting a bus fine started immediately to
assist in conveying school children.
Mr. Theo Neal previously appeared before the Council reā¬larding a bus franchise.
The emergency existing now account Longfellow school burning. It is deemed
necessary to get buses in operation as soon as possible as some small children
have to walk 1 3/4 miles.
Mr. C. L. Booth spoke about the law requirements and the need as stated. If the
bus owner could establish a loop.with designated stops to give the children advantage
of this convenience it -would help a great deal.
Motion mabe by Bonnett, seconded by Hostetter thatNeal be given 60 days to operate
without franchise or city license in compliance with state laws. Motion -carried
unanimous_
