CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 1:30 P.M., Honorable Mayor Pro Tem A. T.
Hostetter presiding.

READING OF ORDINANCES:
ORDINANCE NO. 643:
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 43�,BEING AN ORDINANCE
TO REGULATE. AND RESTRICT TIME L&CATION AND THE USE OF BUILDINGS AND
THE USE OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON: TO LIMIT THE
HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS: TO PRESCRIB BUILDING LINES AND THE SIZE OF YEARDA'
AND OTHER OPEN SPACES AND FOR THESE PIRPOSES TO DIVIDE THE CITY INTO
DISTRICTS.
Motion made by Overlie seconded by Beck.that Ordinance No. 643 be given the third
reading, motion carried. Ordinance No 643 was read, motion made by Grigg seconded
by Glasow that Ordinance No. 643 has been given the third reading motion carried.
Motion made by Lake seconded by Glasow that Ordinance No 643 be amended, namely,
where ever the word "commission" appears, that this be stricken Ahd "city Council"
be insertedip Motion carried. Motion made by Glasow seconded by Lake that Ordinance
No, 643 be adopted as amended, motion carried by roll call vote of six.
ORDINANCE NO. 644;
AN ORDINANCE C',IEATING A RESIDENTIAL R-1 ZONE WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO
AND DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY CONTAINED THEREIN AND DEFINING THE CLASS
OF BUILDING TO BE ERECTED THEREIN, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
Motion made by Grigg seconded by Lake that Ordinance No. 644 be given
the third reading, motion carried. Ordinance No 644 was read. Motion made by
grigg seconded by Lake that Ordinance No 644 has bee given the thbkd reading
motion carried, Motion made by Grigg seconded by Overlie that Ordinance No 644
be adopted as read, motion carried by roll call vote of six.
ORDINANCE NO. 645:
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION FIVE OF FIRE ORDINANCE NO. 459
"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT
REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, ALTERATION,
OCCUPanCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGHT, AREA, AND MAINTENANCE OF
BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF PASCO, ADOPTING THE
UNIFORM! BUILDING CODE OF THE PACIFIC COAST BUILDING OFFICIALS
CONFERENCE. SETTING UP FIRE ZONES, PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER
OF SELECTION OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR, FIXING HIS COMIPENSATION,
AND REPEALING CERTAIN ORDINANCES."
Motion made by Grigg, seconded by Lake that Ordinance 645 be
given the 3rd reading. Motion carried. Ordinance 645 was read. Motion made
by Lake seconded by Glasow that Ordinance 645 has been given the 3rd reading.
Motion carried. Motion made by Grigg, seconded by Glasow that Ordinance 645
be adopted as read. Motion carried by roll call vote of five (5).
ORDINANCE NO. 646 :
An Ordinance vacating a portion of Murray Street and Authorizing
the Conveyance Thereof.
WHEREAS a petition has heretofore been filed as provided by haw
petitioning for the vacation of a portion of Murray Street
in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, described as follows:
That portion of said MurrayStreetlying northerly of the north
line of the east and west alley in Block 4, O'Keefe's
Second Addition to Pasco, produced easterly, and southerly of
a straight line between the most northeL-ly corner of Lot 1,
Sub -division of Block D, Pettit's Addition, and the Northeast
corner of said block 4, O'Keefe's Second Addition; and that
portion of said Murray Streey lying southerly of the south line of
the east and west alley in said Block 4, produced easterly,
and northerly of a straight line drawn between the southeast
corner of said block 4, and the southwest corner of said Lot 1.
Motion made by Grigg, seconded by Glasow that Ordinance (i4,6 be
given the 3rdgreading. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 646 was read. Motion
made by Grigg seconded by Lake that Ordinance No. 646 has been given the 3rd
reading. Motion carried. Motion made by Grigg, seconded by Overlie that
Ordinance No 646 be adopted as read. Motion carried by roll call vote of
five (5).
