Nelson presiding. ROLL CALL: By Clerk; Councilmen present were John Beck, Art Glasow, Jr., Charles Grigg and A. T. Hostetter. H. G. Lake, T. G. Overlie•and C. R. Wallis were absent. D. 1N. 'lent, City Attorney, arrived late. REGULAR ORDER OF BUSINESS SET ASIDE: by unanimous consent. BILLING, MACHINE: Bids on Billing Machine were received and discussed. No decision was reached. Hostetter suggested that this be tabled for further investigation. This was favored by all. P SCHOOL LIGHTS: Purchasing traffic lights for school locations were considered. Two sets would be needed at $325.00 per set, plus installation. Motion made by Beck,,, to purchase one set of school signal lights from the Crown 'Signal -Inc., $325.00 F.O.B. Factory. Motion withdrawn. Purchasing; standard traffic lights was suggested. More consideration to be given. M COMMUNICATIONS: E ` CITY PROPERTY BLOCK 13 NORTHERN PACIFIC PLATT, C. A. HAHN: A letter was read from C. A. Hahn stating the Cityls minimum price of r $3,000.00 per lot was excessive and made an offer of $15500.00 per lot. This was turned to the Building Committee for recommendation. NAVY BASE: Fire -Chief Matthias suggested correction at the Navy Base regarding A flues. Griggs on Air Port Committee to meet with committee and work this out. DEL C. ISSACSON: reappointed. Mayor Nelson reappointed Del C. Issacson as a member of the Pasco K Airport Committee. Motion made by Hostetter, seconded by Grigg to accept the appointment of Del C. Issacson to succeed himself on the Pasco Air Port Com- mittee. Motion carried unanimous.
