HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-11-1948 MinutesPASCO, WASHINGTON RECESSED MEETING COUNCIL CHAMBER SEPTEMBER 11, 1948. CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 2:30 o'clock P.M., Honorable Mayor W. A. Nelson presiding. POLL CALL: By Clerk, Councilmen present were Art Glasow, Jr., Charles Grigg, A. T. Hostetter, H. G. Lake and T. G. Overlie. John Beck and C. R. Wallis arrived late. City Attorney D. W. Zent was absent. 1949 TENTATIVE BUDGET: The 1949 Tentative Budget was again reviewed through all departments and funds. In discussing the Current Expense Investment Fund it was requested by the Mayor that this $35,000.00 be transferred into the accumulative Bldg. & Alterations Fund. This fund now has $12,974.68; it was agreed unanimously that this transfer be made in the budget for 1949. Resolution No. 297, being the Tentative Budget, covering all anticipated receipts and expenditures for the year 1949, in the amount of $6340245.10 is hereby adopted and ready for Notice to Tax -payers. Motion so made by Grigg, seconded by Glasow and carried by roll call vote of six (6). �I ADJOURNMENT: Motion made by Wallis, seconded by Overlie that meeting adjourn to next Regular Meeting Tuesday, 8:00 o'clock P.M.
