RECESSED
CALL TO ORDER:
Meeting called to order at eight o'clock, P.M., Honorable Mayor W:A. Nelson
presiding.
ROLL CALL:
By clerk, councilmen present were John Beck, Charles.Grigg, A.T. Hostetter,
H.G. Lake, T.G. Overlie and C.R. Wallis; Art Glasow Jr. was a bsent,also,
City Attorney U.W. Zent.
BILLS:
PAYMENT OF BILS:
Paying the 15% retained from H.L. Blantons service fee which amount is $105.00,
also, $2,100.00 retained from services rendered by McAtee & Heathe from the
1947 budget was discussed, motion made by Beck seconded by Overlie that Blantons
$105.00 and McAtee & reathes $2,100.00 be placed in escrow at the Pasco Branch
Seattle First National Bank until released by the council on completion of oil
job and approved, motion carried by roll call vote of six (6).
CURRENT BILLS:
Current bills against the city were read as follows, motion made by Beck seconded
by Hostetter that all vouchers properly signed and approved be paid, motion
carried by roll call vote of six (6).

RECESSED MEETING COUNCIL CHAMBER DECEMBER 30, 1947
RESOLUTION NO. 288:
A Resolution to transfer $5,000.00 now in the Recreation Fund for purchase of
building to Buiding & Alteration Fund for purchase of the same; building when
negotiations are complete, motion made by Beck seconded by Grigg, that Resolution
No. 288 be adopted, motion carried by roll call vote of six (6).
REFUND ON BUILDING PERMIT:
Mr. Glenn R. Mudd requests a refund of $10.00 on a building permit as he does
not intend to build, motion made by Beck seconded by Grigg to authorize the
refund, motion carried by roll call vote of six (6).
DEPOSIT CHECKS 5% OF BID:
Two checks are being -held, one for Northwest Filter Co. in the amount of $643.35,
McAtee & heathe in the amount of $700.00, council favors holding checks longer.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion made by hostetter seconded by Overlie that the meeting adjourn to next
regular meeting, Tuesday, January 6, 1948, eight o'clock P.M.
