COLUMBIA BASIN PROJECT:

A letterwas read from F.A. Banks advising the city that they/ owriyed iAd in the
project, subject to the provisions of the repayment contract and Columbia
Basin project act and that.it was advisable to make this land eligible to receive
irrigation water from the project work; an affidavit with self addressed
envelope is attached, motion made by Nelson seconded by Diemond that this be
turned to the Mayor and �'ity Attorney for necessary action, motion carried.
LIQUID CHLORINE CONTRACT:
A contract with the Pennsylvania Salt Mfg. Col of Washington to furnish liquid
chlorine was read, motion made by Rodkey seconded by Nelson that the Mayor and
City Clerk be authorized to sign and return, motion carried by roll call Vote of
six (6).
REQUEST FOR FENCE ON WEST LEWIS:
Mr. Huber made inquiry relative to erecting a fence six -(6) feet high adjacent
the B.B. Horrigan residence, wire across the front, solid sides and back, Huber
to gets neighbors consent.
$7,630.54 IN ESCROW FOR SWIMMING POOL:
A letter was read from Milt Bristol with a letter and report on money raised
by the Lions Club in the amount of �p7,630.54 which has been placed in escrow
at the Pasco Branch Seattle First 'lational Bank, to assist with the construction
of a swimming pool for Pasco in 1947. Motion made by iVelson that the city clerk
express thanks to the Lions Club for their efforts , motion seconded by Larson
carried so ordered.
