Baker BILLS: Claim vjouchers against th city were read and ordered paid .from the 1944 13udpet. LIBRARY_ BOARD_AFPOINTTa�ENT A. Irl. Haylett was reappointed by the Mayor as a member of the Library Board for a period of five years terminating December 11, 1949. Tlartin Iron & Steel Products, Portlan'a, Oregon, relative to selling the city some wooden pipe, City Clerk to answer letter. B. H. SHELDON: A letter was read from Mr. Buckley of the Gerry's Sales & Service Garage, in regard to collecting a bill for equipment repair work for I3. H. Sheldon. This was turned to the City Attorney. 11AYOR JOHNSTON: Mayor Johnston gave a short resume on city finances and developments; by comparison, since 1941. He also complimented the city officers on their ability, faithful service and cooperation.
