CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 8:15 P.M. Honorable Mayor, T. S. Johnston
presiding.

HOUSING PROJECT - MASH -4 279 N. PASCO
Mr. W E. Langer, of the Federal Public Housing Agency, presented a
proposal submitted by E. Halverson as follows:
For running 8" server from Project Wash -45279-N. at the mint of
project where sewer connects to lift station 4t the manhole on
First Street 12' 6" deep at manhole and grade•to 9' 6" at project- - $ 5 82'.90
2 extra manholes in First Street line at $170.00 - - - - - - - - - - ''40..00

Following a discussion, it was decided to remove gravel and reb>>ild street
with city equipment, thus lowering the cost $995.00, leaving ?1,705.00 difference
between the Federal Public Housing Authority's budget and the cost of sewer
installation. The council feels that this expense could be financed through
the Sewer Extension Fund. Motion made by Diemond and seconded by Marshall to
accept proposal submitted by E. Halverson for installation of a'1211 server _line
from Project at City Limits to manhole at First and Margaret Street. $995.00
itemized to cover removing and replacing gravel from street, to be deducted from
contractor's price, and this work to be done by the Street Denartm.ent. Trench
to be refilled by contractor. The city to stand $1,705.00 of the expense.
Motion carried by roll call vote of (6) six.
HUTI,IEIITS FOR YOUTH CENTER
Mr. Capazo was present in behalf of the Youth Center and selecting a
location for two Hutments loaned to the Recr.eat,on Project by the Hanford
Engineers for the duration. Sylvester Park is the location desired. They elan
to place them in L shape, connected with the sewer and install toilet facilities.
Motion made by 'Marshall and seconded by Bnnth that Hutments be placed in the
Park on the corner of Yalima and Norbert for the duration. Motion carried so
ordered.. Location of Hutment and facilities at the Park Side Housing Project
will be worked out later with T;Tr. Olson. Port View Hutment for Recreational
Center will be located in the vicinity of the Housing office.

SHORE PATROL O"7ICE CHANGE
The Police Department need more room to install their radio system and
would like to have room now occupied by the Navy Shore Patrol. The Patrol is
willing to release most of the room but would like to retain a small waiting
room. This is to be worked out by the Police Committee.
