Platt, with tYie :stipulaiion­in the deed that',the build_ing , be ei regted according to pians submitted to the council, within six months of this date. Motion carried. TO BUILDING --INSPECTOR . Motion-- made- by Booth that ,Building- Inspector be= instructed not to issued- a permit for any Building costing ten thousand'dollars or more unless plans have been prepared by a licensed Engineer or -Architect. Motion --seconded by Rodkey. Motion carried. RENEWAL OF TRAILER.CAIAP LICrNSE:- Mr: Browning- -has made application for a renewal of his temporary Permit to operate a trailer Camp in Residential District R-1. A report from the Health Department was requested. REPORT, FROM COMTTITTEES: Police Committee: At a Police Committee meeting Mc Kibbin informed the Comm- ittee- that the Woman- Clerks- were --not proving satisfactory-. an the- Polic-e- Office-. Water- Committee The Water- Committee- reports that Mr.. Grigg's is -making an intake. N.E. Robbins -,has offered for sale to the City, Block C. Pettits Addition to Pasco for the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars-. The Water Committee -recommended the purchase of this prope-rty. Motion made by Linderman and seconded by Booth that the recommendation by accepted and --purchase made. Motion carried by roll call vote of five. The City Cleric to so notify Mr. Robb -ins ---by letter. Water Manager McGhee advises some. -pipe -ha -s --arrived from the H.G. Purcell Co., but is not to be.. used until priority ha -s bbeen- obtained. Rodkey says_. that a Starter- can- -b-wi rented- from Seattle- for June -0 July and August. He -was --advised to take -advantage of this opportunity. A dead tree in front of Leepers on W. Margaret Street was ordered removed by Mr. Booth. Brickey--wa-s so- informed: PARKS COMMITTEE: Motion- made ­by Diemond and seconded by Booth that fifty dollars from the Kiwanis Beach fund be used for the purchase of shrubs to be placed in the North. -End ­of Voluntteer--Park: Mot m. -so, carried. At this time Mr. Booth was excused. Motion made by ]Linderman and seconded by Rodkey that Ordinance #533 has been given the first reading. Motion carried. Motion made by Linderman and seconded by Rodkey that Ordinance #533 be given the second reading by title only. Motion carried. Motion made by Rodkey and seconded by Linderman that Ordinance #533 had been given the second reading. Motion sorcarried. Motion made by Linderman and seconded by Rodkey that Ordinance #533 be given the third reading. by unanimous consent. Motion so carried. Motion made by Rodkey and seconded by Linderman that the third reading had been given. Motion so carried. Motion made by Linderman and seconded by Rodkey that Ordinance #533 be adopted. Motion carried by a Roll Call Vote of four. REPORTS FROM OFFICERS: The City Clerk furnished each member with a copy of the February Budget Report of all Departments The Building Inspectors report for February 1944 was read . UNFINISHED BUSINESS: PARKING METERS: Bamford is vorking with the Parking Meters and should be instructed by Brickey how to make repairs. Mayor to take this up,with Me Kibb in. VATER INTAKE: Rodkey advises that the blue print for the intake has been changed considerable. NEW BUSINESS: ~ RESIGNATION: Mary Jane Campbell tendered her resignation by letter, motion made -by Linderman and seconded by Rodkey to accept the resignation. Motion so carried. Effective date April 15, 1944. ADJOURNMENT At this time Mr Linderman was called out of the meeting.
