ADJOURNED MEETING::
PASCO, WASHINGTON,
COMT1ITTEE ROOM.
CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at eight -fifty P. Tal. Honorable Mayor E. S. Johnston
presiding.
ROLL CALL: By clerk councilmen present were C. L Booth, Chas. Diwmond, Y. J. Linderman,
V. F. Marshall and D. F. Rodkey; Absent were D. Byron Baker & W. E. Drennan also
.the City Attorney.
_Planning Commission Reports i
(A report was read from a special meeting of the City Planning Commission
Mr. Rector submitted a written outline of work he would do in laying out the future '
planning of the City of Pasco for a fee of $7001-.100, the commission will hold another -
special meeting Thursday January 21st 1944 to carefully consider this plan.
Chas Grigg was present at the planning commission meeting and the matter of
extending Commercial District C-1 was thoroughly gone over a motion was made by L. L:
Striggham seconded by E. S.Johnston that the commercial district be extended begin-
ninga6th and Columbia going West on Columbia to the Railroad Right-of-way thence West
to 10th Ave., thence North to Calrk Street thence East on Calrk to 6th thence South
on 6th to Columbia point of beginning)
Following a discussion of the above report the city council also favor Making
a study df�the Zoning Plans before changes are made.
S5AIER LINE OF F. W. A. : -
A letter was read from the F. W. A. (Federal Works Authority) regarding the
turning of the Housing Project's Sewer system,to the city�.Tjlayor Johnston will will
acknowledge receipt of the letter then turn it to the Street Committee for consider-
ation and report.
OVER ALL SEWEREYTEIISION PROJECT:
Sealed proposals for materials and installation of sewer system improvements
were reviewed and discussed. Mr. °Marshall read the notice to contractors I;?otion made'
by Booth seconded by Marshall that the proposals be accepted motion carried by a::e;:°Fd
roll call vote of five.
Motion made by Linderman seconded by Marshall that the notice to contractors
or call for bids be advertised soon as possible in the Seattle Daily Journal of
Commerce two successive days in two seccessibe weeks making four publications and
four publications in the local paper bids to be received at the City Clerks office
Wednesday February 23, 1944 up to eight oclock P. M. motion carried so ordered.

CHARGES FOR SEVIER CONNECTIONS:
CHarges for sewer connections to the new sewer system was again brought up byi
Mr. Rodkey and it was agreed that"$50.00 charge would be stipulated in the Ordinance.
WATER INTAKE:: �
In discussing the plans for the intake it was thought best to obtain a price
a from John W. Cunningham on these specifications to.avoid confusion and misunderstanding.
